The highly anticipated Soweto derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates takes place on Saturday, 28 February at FNB Stadium.
With tickets officially sold out across all levels – including hospitality and children’s tickets – stadium management has released detailed event-day information to assist fans.

Mobility-impaired patrons have access to 84 designated tickets on Level 2, each including a complimentary assistant ticket.
Parking arrangements must be made in advance with Stadium Management South Africa.
Parking and Transport
Fans are strongly encouraged to make use of public transport and park-and-ride options.
Parking at the stadium is free, but illegally parked vehicles will be towed. Strict traffic control and road closures will be in place from 08:00. Authorities have warned non-attendees to avoid the stadium precinct between 08:00 and 20:00.
Stadium management has confirmed a shortfall of approximately 4 000 parking bays based on historic derby attendance, with only 15 000 formal bays available.

Shuttle departures are scheduled for 12:00, with return trips from 18:00.
Rea Vaya Special Services
Rea Vaya will operate dedicated services to and from the stadium, with departures beginning from 11:00 at various locations including Ellis Park, Library Gardens, Thokoza Park and Dobsonville.
Pre-Match Entertainment & Activations
Soweto derby fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the carnival atmosphere.
Headline entertainment includes a performance by Boohle, winner of Song of the Year 2025, courtesy of Black Label.

The SAB Beer Garden, located on the southwest side of the stadium, will host live DJ performances from 12:30 to 15:10.
Food, ATMs and Merchandise
Extensive food and beverage facilities will be available across the stadium concourses, including multiple bars and concession kiosks.
Two FNB ATMs are available inside the stadium, with two additional mobile ATMs near the beer gardens.
Official club merchandise will be sold at dedicated Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates retail outlets inside the venue.
