FIFA 23 New Zealand release date, time to play early access on Sep 26th

The release date and time for when the FIFA 23 Ultimate edition early access will come out is only a few days away, and especially eager fans on Xbox can play even earlier with the New Zealand trick.

There’s lots to anticipate with this year’s final instalment of FIFA from EA. The old lady, Juventus, is returning, there’s the debut of the Women’s Super League, it includes the 2022 Qatar World Cup, and player career mode has lots of new features.

It’s all incredibly exciting, and every one of us will be able to hit the pitch very soon.

When does FIFA 23 come out in New Zealand?

The release date and time countdown for when FIFA 23 will come out in New Zealand is 00:00 NZDT on September 27th, which should translate to 04:00 PT, 07:00 ET, and 12:00 BST on September 26th.

It’s a midnight launch for every region on consoles, and this comes courtesy of the NZ PSN store. Lots of people on Reddit have also shared that their Xbox console provides a midnight launch in their local region, too.

Hours are different for PC as it’s a global launch. Origin says the game will launch on September 26th at 15:00 PT, 18:00 ET, and 23:00 BST. No hours are shared for Steam and Epic Games, but the launch times should be the same across all PC stores.

How to play FIFA 23 early access

FIFA 23 fans can play the early access Ultimate edition on September 26th by using the New Zealand release date and time trick.

The trick has always worked for the series before, and it simply requires fans on Xbox to pre-order the Ultimate edition normally, and then follow the below steps:

• Select Settings
• Click System
• Proceed to Language and Location
• Change Location to New Zealand
• Reset Xbox console

There is a NZ trick for PlayStation, too, but it’s ultimately not worth it. You’d have to create a separate NZ Profile, and you’d have to pay more to buy gift cards from PC Game Supply.

If you play on PC, the good news is that you get the game slightly earlier than consoles in your local region. And you can get the Ultimate edition for ‘free’ with an EA Play Pro subscription.
