First Look Out: Riteish Deshmukh Turns Politician for Raid 2

Actor Riteish Deshmukh’s first character poster from Raid 2 has been unveiled. The actor steps into the role of a politician and this time, as the fierce nemesis taking on IRS Amay Patnaik. In the poster, the actor can be seen wearing a crisp shirt with a Nehru jacket. He is surrounded by several people holding flags of his party. Riteish strikes an intense pose.

Sharing it, he wrote, “Kanoon ka mohtaj nahi, kanoon ka malik hai Dada Bhai! #Raid2 knocking in cinemas near you from 1st May.” Take a look:

Yesterday, the makers released Ajay Devgn’s first character poster from Raid 2. He is playing the role of IRS Amay Patnaik and we will see him in a fierce face off with Riteish’s character.

The film is a sequel of the 2018 film Raid and follows IRS Amay Patnaik’s journey as he takes on another high profile crime. As per reports, the teaser of the film will be unveiled during the screening of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Sikandar which will be released on March 30th.

About Raid

Raid was produced by Kumar Mangat along with his son Abhishek Pathak and the same team has come on board for the second part as well. Ajay, Ileana D’cruz, and Saurab Shukla were in the lead in Raid, which went on to garner Rs 150 crore at the box office.

The film took inspiration from a real-life income tax raid which took place in the ’80s and whose aftershocks were felt among the corridors of power right up to Delhi.
