Last weekend, the Napier Art Deco Trust and digital marketing agency FizzyPop celebrated the 2024 Winter Art Deco Festival, an annual event bringing fun and entertainment to the region during winter.
The festival is a key driver for domestic tourism to the Hawke’s Bay and provided an exciting array of activities, including a vintage car display, an architectural explorer tour, hidden speakeasy experiences, casino nights and a murder mystery evening.
Attendees were encouraged to dress up, donning furs and other period attire to immerse themselves in the festivities.
Successful partnership
Renewing the relationship with FizzyPop was a natural choice for the Napier Art Deco Trust, says Membership and Marketing Coordinator, Matthew Bonnett.
“Their strategic guidance and flawless execution have been instrumental in our festival’s continued success, and we trust them as a safe pair of hands to deliver an outstanding campaign once again.”
The partnership produced a comprehensive digital campaign that leverages platforms such as digital out of home, YouTube, social media, search advertising, and Google Display Network.
Further to the in-market activity, FizzyPop have implemented an innovative first-party data strategy for the Napier Art Deco Trust, allowing the trust to efficiently capture data for prospective members as well as efficiently cross-promote event sales to Art Deco enthusiasts.
FizzyPop’s Key Account Manager, Kat Robinson says the agency is delighted to continue its collaboration with the Napier Art Deco Trust.
“Our team is passionate about bringing the Winter Art Deco Festival to life. Living and working in Napier, we understand cultural significance of our Art Deco festivals, and are proud to be part of their growth.”
Spirit and resilience
FizzyPop’s targeted digital strategy has continued the work of growing the festival beyond local
borders, engaging a nationwide audience with the elegance and charm of the Art Deco era.
The Winter Art Deco Festival not only showcases art, culture, and architectural grandeur but also
epitomises the community’s enduring spirit and resilience.
