Kaizer Chiefs’s Wandile Duba is no longer facing an exit from Amakhosi. The younger forward was back on Sunday.

WANDILE DUBA BACK FOR KAIZER CHIEFS
After making his name in the DStv Diski Challenge before former coach Arthur Zwane handed him his first senior appearance in 2022, the 19-year-old Duba went under the radar.

With a new coach in charge and six weeks of pre-season just passed, Duba returned to the Chiefs squad in KwaZulu Natal against Royal AM on Sunday.
The speedy attacker was introduced as a substiture for Ashely du Preez in the final two minutes of four added minutes.

BRUCE BVUMA SENDS MESSAGE TO HIS BOSSES
Staying with Chiefs, former Academy star, Bruce Bvuma has signed a new deal extension.
It was around October last year when Bvuma was linked with an exit.
However, the dismal form of Brandon Petersen and Itumeleng Khune’s ill-discipline gifted Bvuma a golden chance.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper took the chance with both hands. Bvuma, originally from Leratong, Gauteng, went on to contribute to three straight clean sheets before Afcon 2023 got in the way.
Fast forward to 2024, and Bvuma has a new deal.
“Having joined the Club’s youth academy in 2014, Bruce Bvuma’s rise through the ranks has been nothing short of remarkable,” Amakhosi reported.
“From displaying exceptional skills and determination in every match he played, Bvuma swiftly made his way to the first team. His agility, lightning-fast reflexes, and unwavering commitment to the game have solidified his position as one of the most promising young talents in South African football.
“The contract extension, which keeps Bvuma at Kaizer Chiefs until June 2026 with an option to extend for a further year, underlines the Club’s belief in their goalkeeper’s abilities,’ the club added.
The Chiefs number one soon responded to the good news.
“My thanks go first to the Almighty for blessing me, and I would also like to thank the Club; the Chairman and all the management for believing in me and giving me another chance to be at Kaizer Chiefs,” the keeper said.
“I have been here for 10 years now, if I count the development days, so I am just grateful that they still trust me. I want to repay their faith in me by performing on the field throughout the contract,” the Bvuma added.
Meanwhile, Chiefs are preparing to face Motsepe Foundation Championship side Milford FC in the Nedbank Cup last 32 on Sunday at the FNB Stadium at 18:00.
