Four people were taken to hospital after a serious car crash which closed a busy Brixton road for six hours.
Met Police officers were alerted to the collision in Effra Parade, at around 5.40am on Sunday morning.
There they found the victims of the crash involving two cars. Three of those hurt are in a non-life changing or threatening condition, but police are waiting for an update on the condition of the fourth injured person.
The crash happened between the one-way system and A2214 Brixton Water Lane. Effra Road reopened just after 11.30am.
A Met Police spokesman said: “There has been no arrest. Any witnesses yet to speak with police are asked to call 101 and quote CAD 1378/22DEC.”
