Frydenberg denies looking at seat of Aston

Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has denied speculation he could move to the seat of Aston when questioned on the issue.

Mr Frydenberg said he was focused on winning Kooyong at the upcoming federal election.

“So, have you or anyone else on your behalf reached out and started having conversations about the seat of Aston,” asked Sky News host Laura Jayes.

“Absolutely not, my focus is on my own seat and my focus is on winning it,” Mr Frydenberg answered.

“My plan A is winning my seat of Kooyong and you know as well as anyone how hard I work in my own seat.”
