Holiday planning has become slightly easier for tourists as coronavirus restrictions continue to ease across the globe.
Those looking for a longer getaway could be considering a trip to South Africa, America or Australia.
However, although travel is slowly becoming simpler, coronavirus restrictions are always subject to change and it’s worth noting the latest Government guidance.

In a bid to make your life easier, we’ve researched the latest travel rules for South Africa, America and Australia as it stands.
South Africa
Travellers will need to produce a paper copy of a negative PCR test to border officials upon arrival in South Africa.
The test must have taken place no more than 72 hours before your departure, MyLondon reports.
If travellers do not present proof of a test upon arrival, they will be required to take a Covid test at their own expense and may be required to quarantine at their own cost.
Passengers will also be asked to fill out a health questionnaire on the plane before entering South Africa.

America
Most fully vaccinated foreign citizens can enter the USA providing you can show proof of your vaccination status.
Before boarding a flight to the USA, most passengers – regardless of vaccination status – are required to show a negative Covid-19 test result taken no more than one day before travel.
All air passengers to the USA are also required to provide contact information to their airlines before boarding.
If you’re unvaccinated then you will need an exemption to enter the US.
If you’re not fully vaccinated but have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last year you still cannot enter the USA.
You’ll also need a Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) visa waiver to get into the States – you can find out which you need here.
Australia
Australia is set to reopen its borders to fully vaccinated tourists from February 21 and they will no longer need a travel exemption to enter the country.
However, unvaccinated holidaymakers will still need a valid travel exemption to enter Australia.
Until then, entry to Australia is only allowed if you are exempt or have been granted an individual exemption.
Exempt categories include Australian citizens, permanent residents of Australia, immediate family members of Australian citizens or permanent residents, and fully vaccinated holders of eligible visas.
Currently, a negative COVID-19 PCR test result is required for travelling to, or transiting through, Australia.
This must be done within 72 hours of your scheduled departure and must be given to your airline when you check in.
You must also complete an Australia Travel Declaration (ATD) at least 72 hours before departure.
