Ghanaian attacker Nasiru Mohammed is facing an uncertain future at BK Hacken as his contract nears expiration.
According to reports in Sweden, Hacken has offered Mohammed an extension with his contract due to expire on December 31.
However, a representative of the player has exclusively told Ghanasoccernet.com that an extension could be agreed.
The 27-year-old returned to the Swedish top-flight club as a free agent in July after parting ways with Bulgarian side Levski Sofia.
Mohammed terminated his contract with Sofia after two years owing to the club’s failure to fulfil their part of the deal, with unpaid bonuses and salaries. He filed to FIFA for claims and won.
Nasiru is three months into recovering from an injury that required surgery. He hasn’t played since August this year.
