HerStory Films Announces the Second Edition of Its Film Incubator

Following the remarkable success of its first edition, HerStory Films is proud to launch the Second Edition of its Egypt Film Incubator in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, reaffirming its commitment to empowering female filmmakers in the Arab world. The incubator is dedicated to developing and producing short films by emerging women directors and writers based in Egypt, providing them with mentorship, resources, and a platform to bring their stories to life. The first edition of HerStory Films Film Incubator received 120 applications, out of which 20 projects were selected for development. After an intensive process of mentorship, workshops, and script development, six projects advanced to the final pitching phase, leading to the selection of three outstanding short films that are now in production directed by: Fatma Abed, Mona Daoud, and Marianne Hanna.
