US President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, has pleaded not guilty to three federal firearm charges at a Delaware courthouse.
Mr Biden has been charged with one count of illegal gun possession and two counts of false statements – including lying about his drug use on a form to buy a gun.
If convicted of the three federal counts, Hunter Biden could face up to 25 years in prison and up to $750,000 in fines.
Biden’s lawyers believe he did not break the law and plan to file a motion to dismiss the case.
The next court date has not yet been assigned; however, the deadline to file any pretrial motions in the case is 3 November.
