Innoson Sue Imo State Government Over N2.5B Debt
Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing (IVM) has filed an over N2.5B lawsuit against the Imo State Government over its failure to pay or service the debt of N2,547,666,435.00.
The Imo State Government under the headship of Senator Hope Uzodinma reportedly failed to pay the said amount for the purchase of various IVM Vehicles, including their parts which IVM manufactured.
Lagos, Ogun sign MoU on 31-km Rail Project from Marina to Agbado
Lagos and Ogun State Government have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 31-kilometre Redline Rail Project from Marina (Lagos) to Agbado (Ogun).
The first phase of the Redline Rail Project is a 25-kilometre stretch from Agbado in Ogun State to Oyingbo in Lagos. It will commence operation in first quarter of 2023.
DCM Dauda Ali Biu becomes the Acting Corps Marshal of the FRSC
Dr Boboye Oyeyemi has handed over leadership of FRSC to DCM Dauda Ali Biu following the approval of his appointment as the Acting Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
Biu replaces Boboye Olayemi Oyeyemi who retires from FRSC, after spending 34 years in service and serving two term as Corps Marshal and Chief Executive of Federal Road Safety Corps (Nigeria).
New Range Rover launched in Kenya
Inchcape Kenya Limited, the official distributor for Jaguar Land Rover, BMW and Motorrad, has introduced the new Range Rover into the Kenyan market.
The new Range Rover, code-named L460, will be available in High Standard Equipment (HSE), Autobiography, SV and the 1st Edition.
