Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly looking to reward striker Ashley Du Preez with a new contract.

Before the start of the season, Portuguese side Vitoria SC, where looking to bring in Du Preez but failed to match Amakhosi’s price stage. If the striker’s contract runs out, they Portuguese team could get him as free agent by signing a pre-contract in January.
Kaizer Chiefs are now looking to offer the striker a new contract to avoid him leaving for free.
“It’s on the cards,” a source told Soccer Laduma.
“But they have not received anything in writing as yet. But something will happen soon. All the involved parties are happy with what’s happening at the moment and that is why they have offered him another two years on his contract until June 2027.
Kaizer Chiefs to offer striker a new two-year deal
“The club still believes in him despite a few bad games here and there. So, I think in January, all would have been settled from the way things are going.”
With the transfer window opening next month, Kaizer Chiefs are desperate to bring a new striker to assist Du Preez and Ranga.
