Independent MP’s ‘bizarre’ mask stunt eaten up by ‘virtue hungry media’

Independent MP Dr Monique Ryan’s mask stunt was eaten up by the “virtue hungry media,” says Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton.

Mr Houghton said the former neurologist used a question in Parliament to “lecture” Australians about wearing masks, while she wasn’t wearing a mask.

“She has been waiting her whole life to tell people what to do, hasn’t she,” Mr Houghton said.

“And the way she snapped was just bizarre.”
