Kiwi sustainable cross-channel media and electric vehicle charging network Jolt has announced Julia Crowhurst as its new Senior Account Director.
Crowhurst is an experienced out-of-home professional with more than 15 years’ experience overseeing product thinking and execution, change management and system planning. She is well-known for her client relationships and leadership skills and will add a wealth of industry expertise to the Jolt sales team.
Most recently, Crowhurst was the Platform Manager for MediaWorks Outdoor, leading campaigns across multiple channels. Prior to this, she had stints as Commercial Systems Manager and Digital and Systems Manager for QMS NZ.
Crowhurst will be responsible for managing media sales across Jolt’s growing roadside network, now boasting an impressive 80 screens and growing weekly. She will be based in Auckland and will report to Jolt New Zealand Group Sales Director, Lohnêt Waugh.
Waugh says Jolt is thrilled to welcome Crowhurst to the team as it expands its network, grows its client base and builds its presence in the market.
“With more than 15 years in the out-of-home industry, Julia has shone in roles across operations, commercial, systems and process. Her recent leadership in programmatic digital out-of-home and automation at MediaWorks fits perfectly with our digital-first strategy.”
Jolt New Zealand Country Manager, Chris Monaghan, says to deliver and operate a premium out-of-home 100% digital network his team will continue to hire the best in the industry.
“Julia is exactly the calibre of talent Jolt will continue to hire as we grow at pace and scale.”
Commenting on her role, Crowhurst says having seen Jolt’s growth in the New Zealand market over the last 12 months, she’s excited to now be part of the expanding team.
“Bringing my own out-of-home knowledge and experience to the business. I believe Jolt brings a new and fresh perspective to the small format outdoor advertising industry and I can’t wait to see what happens next.”
Crowhurst’s appointment follows the recruitment of Waugh to the business in April as the new Group Sales Director for New Zealand, along with the rapid expansion of Jolt’s New Zealand charging network, with 80 urban roadside panels now live across Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington.
