According to reputable local publication Unplayable, Given Thibedi has signed a one-year contract extension at Casric Stars.
The 26-year-old former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder will be looking to guide stars to promotion after falling narrowly short last season.
Stars ended last season just six points off the crucial playoff position and will be looking to go one better this season.

“We’ve received several calls, and we have Nabi there at Kaizer Chiefs, who’s our favourite coach. However, the situation is that the player has a contract, and Pyramids are not willing to release him,” Fiston Mayele’s agent Yasmin Mudele told FarPost.
“As much as Mayele would love to play for Nabi, Nabi is one of our favourite coaches. We love him. He’s a nice person but it’s impossible. They worked really well together. But the reality is that he’s under contract.”
