Pala: A Keralite nurse who met with a road accident in South Surrey in British Columbia, Canada, the other day has succumbed to her injuries.
The deceased Shilpa Babu, 44, is the daughter of Babu of the Chazhikattu Family in Kottayam.
She was a staff nurse in Canada. She was on the way to pick her children from music class, when her car met with the accident.
Her husband Dr Anil Chacko, hails from Mariyapuram, near Pala.
Noha and Neev are the couple’s children.
Shilpa’s father-in-law Chackochan is the owner of Blue Moon hotel in Pala.
Shilpa’ funeral will be held later.
