Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah, Trabzonspor forward Mahmoud Trezeguet, Wolfsburg forward Omar Marmoush and Nantes striker Mostafa Mohamed are set to join the team in the next few hours.
Egypt coach Rui Vitória has announced a 27-man list to play Niger and Liberia on 23 and 27 September.
The Pharaohs will also face Belgium in another friendly in November.
