Labor to regulate gig economy

Shadow Industrial Relations Minister Tony Burke says Labor will regulate the gig economy.

Mr Burke said Labor will also set minimum standards, pointing to the how the care industry is delivered through the gig economy.

“We want to be able to see the minimum wage continue to go forward,” he told Sky News Australia.

“I have more to say about that later in the campaign.”
