Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) successfully rescued four individuals involved in two separate accidents in the Obanikoro and Chevron areas of Lagos State.
The first incident occurred on Ikorodu Road, near Aret Adams House, where a high-speed lone accident involved a commercial Suzuki mini-bus, registration number KTU 527 XN. The vehicle overturned, trapping the driver, a conductor, and a female passenger, all of whom sustained serious injuries. LASTMA officers quickly responded, executing a comprehensive rescue operation.
The driver, who suffered critical fractures, was transported to the National Orthopaedic Hospital in Igbobi for urgent treatment.
The conductor received immediate medical assistance from the Lagos State Ambulance Services (LASMBUS), while the injured female passenger was handed over to her family members shortly after their arrival.
The second accident took place near the Chevron area along the Lekki-Ajah Expressway, where an over-speeding Toyota Camry (registration KSF 913 JK) lost control and veered into a deep gutter.
