We’ve chewed through seven weeks, 27 contestants and more than 100 dishes to get to this point: the rumble in the tum(ble), the beef to end all beefs: The 2022 MasterChef NZ final.
Going head to head are Auckland cook and gin maker “Elegant” Elliot McClymont, and Auckland barista and TikTok cooking sensation, “Saucy” Sam Low.
These two have consistently been at the top of the leaders board throughout the competition, so just which one of these chefs will claim the prize ($6,000 of appliances, a cookbook deal, six months worth of New World groceries and the admiration of the nation) is anyone’s guess.
Join Stuff food editor Emily Brookes, and Stuff Homed reporter and food fan Kylie Klein Nixon as they live blog the mash of the masters, from 6.45pm on Sunday, July 17.
