New York: New York City authorities ended the mandatory mask requirement in the city’s hospitals, nursing homes and other medical facilities.
Acting State Health Commissioner Dr. James Macdonald said that the epidemic is not over but we are moving towards a change.
The ban required masks for vaccinated or unvaccinated patients, staff and visitors, which has now been lifted.
Acting State Health Commissioner Dr. James McDonald said that the first case of Covid was reported in New York three years ago on March 1.
Since then, the workers working in the medical centers of the state continued their work with consistency and bravery during the global outbreak and took care of masks and other necessary safety measures to protect themselves and the patients.
Dr. James MacDonald said that the pandemic is not over but we are moving towards change.
