Chiefs have recruited central defenders Thatayaone Ditlhokwe and Given Msimango, attacking midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane, central midfielder Edson Castillo, wide attacker Pule Mmodi and central striker Ranga Chivaviro. That is a serious amount of surgery to the first-team spine, and fans of the Glamour Boys have reason to get a little excited.

Ntseki at the wheel
53-year-old Molefi Ntseki joined the club as Head of Technical and Youth Development in 2021 but he’s now been appointed as head coach for the 2023-24 campaign with immediate effect. Alongside him, Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard will serve as assistants. Will Ntseki utilise a 4-3-2-1? We’ll have to wait and see.
