You’ve probably come across the poster for Mohamed Ramadan’s latest track, Hatgely. Honestly, does he ever stay out of controversy even for a few days? Even those who aren’t necessarily fans seem to find themselves talking about him and the heated debates he always manages to stir up.
But this time, the buzz started even before the track dropped.
All it took was the poster, one that clearly referenced his previous viral moment with Yasmine Sabri during Ramadan. It didn’t take long before people started calling him out for being disrespectful and out of line toward a colleague once again.
So, the question is: was this whole thing just a calculated social media stunt? Or is he simply jumping on his own trend wagon?
Honestly, both feel so off. This is the textbook example of the “bad publicity is still publicity” mindset. And sure, that might get attention, but is it really worth it?
There’s something troubling about an artist who constantly chases controversy to stay relevant. Finally, what defines you as an artist—or an actor—isn’t how many times you stir up drama. It’s what you deliver to your audience, and how you respect your craft and colleagues is what truly matters.
