Former Super Eagles forward Victor Moses’ late goal earned Spartak Moscow a 1-1 draw at Akhmat Grozny, in their first game of the Russian top-flight on Saturday, Completesports.com reports.
Moses was named among the substitute before coming on with 12 minutes left in the encounter.
Artem Timofeev opened scoring for Akhmat Grozny in the fourth minute of added time in the first half.
But Moses netted in the 83rd minute to help his side kick off the new season on a positive note.

Moses will be featuring in his third season at Spartak Moscow after joining them in 2020.
The former Chelsea winger was instrumental as Spartak Moscow clinched the Russian Cup after overcoming Dynamo Moscow in the final.
Unfortunately, Spartak Moscow would not compete in the UEFA Europa League group stage, as all Russian clubs, as well as the national team, have been barred from European competition due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
In the league last campaign Spartak Moscow finished in 10th spot in the 16-team table.
