Ahead of Mother’s Day, supermodel, actress, and activist, Naomi Campbell is sharing first images of her son.
To kick-off the weekend, the 53-year-old posed with her children while pictured from behind, watching an ocean-side sunset from the beach. The mother-of-two simply captioned an Instagram carousel of images, “#BLESSED.”
Campbell welcomed her son in June of 2023. At the time, she took to social media, sharing a glimpse of the child in her arms with his big sister reaching out to hold his hand.
“My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence, she captioned the post at the time. “A True Gift from God , blessed ! Welcome Babyboy. #mumoftwo.” She added, “It’s never too late to become a mother.”
Earlier this year, while introducing her Naomi X BOSS travel capsule collection, Campbell spoke to Extra, stating that although she is the boss when it comes to business, there is one person that she even has to answer to.
“My daughter is my boss,” Campbell joked with the outlet.
While speaking to Vogue in September of last year, she told the outlet that her daughter is also her travel companion, stating that, “She rolls with me.”
In May of 2021, Campbell introduced her little girl to the world on social media, referring to her as a beautiful little blessing who had chosen her as her mother.
“So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life, there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you, my angel. There is no greater love,” she captioned the post at the time.
The supermodel gave birth for the first time at the age of 50. She has become a vehement advocate for older women who want to still have children. In an interview with British Vogue in March 2022, she shared the cover with her then, nine-month-old daughter. In her interview she said that, “I always knew that one day I would be a mother, but it’s the biggest joy I could ever imagine. I’m lucky to have her and I know that.”
And then, she shared a word of encouragement for those who want to become mothers at a later stage in life: “I’m telling them all, do it! Don’t hesitate!”
