Thanks to a supercharged start on digital platforms, ‘Super Freaky Girl’ – the latest single from Rap Queen Nicki Minaj – is predicted to premiere atop next week’s Hot 100.

Enjoying a rocketed response from its August 12 release, ‘Super’ soared to the top of real-time sales tallies in over 50 countries – including the USA – less than a day after its unveiling. Its stay atop the lists was cemented with the unlocking of its official ‘Roman’ remix just days later.
The song’s sales performance, when coupled with gargantuan streaming figures from the likes of Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, YouTube, and more, makes Minaj a shoo-in for next week’s top spot on the Hot 100. The only slight (and we do mean slight) chance she has of being bested is by Harry Style‘s ‘As It Was,’ which continues to be a killer at radio.
According to online sources, the predicted numbers that will usher ‘Super’ to the hit list’s perch are looking like this.
Streaming: 18m – 20m U.S.-based streams
Radio airplay: 3m-5m audience impressions
Digital Downloads: 70k-75k U.S.-based sales
If the prediction above rings true, the chart-topping of Nicki’s ‘Super’ – produced by Dr. Luke and Malibu Babie – will mark a career milestone for the GRAMMY nominee.
Already in the hit list’s history books for being the first woman to nab 100 appearances, the 39-year-old has managed to collect 123 entries over her storied career (as of time reported) – two of which managed to land on its perch (2020’s ‘Say So’ with Doja Cat and ‘Trollz’ with 6ix9ine). Unlike the previously mentioned hits, ‘Super’ is poised to be her first solo song to nest at the tally’s perch.
