North Korea fired off two apparent ballistic missiles on Saturday morning — the nuclear-armed country’s sixth and seventh launches this week.
The Japan Coast Guard reported the two launches, citing the Defense Ministry, at 6:47 a.m. and 7:01 a.m. Both appeared to have splashed down in the Sea of Japan, outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone, which extends 200 nautical miles (370 kilometers) from its coast, media reports citing Japanese government officials said.
In a time of both misinformation and too much information, quality journalism is more crucial than ever.
