New Zealand have won the toss and chosen to bowl in the third one-day international against India at Hagley Oval.
The toss was delayed for 15 minutes on Wednesday while the covers were removed after light rain, but the match is threatened by heavier rain forecast later in the day.
New Zealand lead the three-match series 1-0 after winning game one at Eden Park, Auckland by seven wickets. The second match in Hamilton was washed out without a result as was one of three Twenty20 internationals between the teams.
The Black Caps have made only one change to their line-up, naming fast bowler Adam Milne in place of allrounder Michael Bracewell.
India’s side are unchanged.
