ORLANDO PIRATES RELEASE KERMIT ERASMUS
Former Orlando Pirates forward Kermit Erasmus is looking determined to shine next season. The training is happening at home.
A section of Buccaneers are still feeling shock and despair after Erasmus was released last month.
After making just 11 appearances that included one goal last season, the 34-year-old striker was unsurprisingly released by Orlando Pirates last month.
“Kermit rejoined the Buccaneers in 2022 after nine years away and made an immediate impact by helping us clinch the MTN8 title. With over 117 matches under his belt in Pirates colours, Romeo has solidified his legendary status at the club,” Orlando Pirates said in the statement that also bid farewell to Thabang Monare, Siyabonga Mpontshane, and Richard Ofori.
Erasmus has since been hotly linked with a move to his former club SuperSport United. Meanwhile, the Gqeberha-born legend has been spotted doing some training at his Johannesburg home. – CHECK OUT THE PICTURES HERE.
