Ahead of the new season, there has been plenty of transfer movement at Pirates, with players coming and going as the Soweto giants look to build a squad capable of competing for trophies once again. This past week, Pirates announced that the club has reached an agreement with Maritzburg United for the services of Karim Kimvuidi. Just recently it was confirmed that Sphamandla Gumede – from ABC Motsepe League club Dondol Stars – is set to make a move to the Buccaneers as well. The club has also swooped in to secure the services of Lesedi Kapinga ahead of the 2023/24 season.
