Peter Andre has promised Sarah Harding will “never be forgotten” a year after her death.
The pop star has remembered the late Girls Aloud star exactly 12 months after she died on September 5, 2021 aged 39 following a battle with cancer, with the singer insisting her memory will live on long after the tragedy.
The ‘Mysterious Girl’ star told OK! magazine: “This week marks one year since the passing of Sarah Harding. It was such a shock when Sarah died, but what I love about the Great British public is that when a terrible situation like this happens and someone so loved passes, people put all their love and support behind the family.”
Peter went on: “Sarah was a very loved person, she will never be forgotten. I hope her family have been able to in some way come to terms with their loss. It’s such a terrible thing to have happened to someone so young.”
Three members of Girls Aloud recently reunited for a charity run in London in honour of their late pal. Nicola Roberts, Cheryl, and Nadine Coyle all took part in the Race For Life event in the British capital in July completing a 5km circuit to raise funds for Cancer Research.
Alongside a snap of the girls, Cheryl wrote on Instagram: “I had such a gorgeous day seeing and catching up with you all. You made it easier and much better. Sarah would be so happy! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming together to try and fight this! I love you.”
Fellow member Kimberley Walsh also took part in the fundraiser but was unable to attend in person so completed the challenge remotely and appeared via video link on Nicola’s phone.
