“We want to see him [Mofokeng] succeed and fulfil his dreams of playing abroad, which is something we didn’t do while playing, to play in Europe,” Orlando Pirates reserve coach Joseph Makhanya told FARPost.
“Now I would want a player I have coached to play for a big team like Barcelona, maybe Rangers in Scotland as the rumours say…
“I feel that if there’s an opportunity for a move to happen at an earlier stage, why not? We wish to see the boys play overseas so we can get to compete against the best in the world as well.”
Pirates star Mofokeng is reportedly attracting serious interest from Spanish giants Barcelona FC!
The incredibly talented winger has taken the Premier Soccer League (PSL) by storm after making his first team debut in 2023.
At the tender age of 20-years-old, Mofokeng has already made 57 appearances for the Buccaneers. Mofokeng has scored 10 goals while assisting 14 more thus far.
And now, reports suggest the Orlando Pirates wizard has caught the eye of Barcelona FC!
