PNE 2024: Here’s how to save money on tickets

The Pacific National Exhibition Fair is back for 2024.

This weekend marks the PNE’s opening weekend and for many Vancouverites, it’s a long-standing tradition and way to mark the end of another summer.

Regular Gate Admission
General Admission — (19 to 64 years) $20 in advance, $25 day of
Youth Admission — (13 to 18 years) $14 in advance, $16 day of
Child Admission — (4 to 12 years) $7 in advance, $9 day of
Senior Admission — (age 65 and older) $14 in advance, $16 day of
Guests age 3 and under do not need a ticket to enter.

Here’s how you can save on tickets to the PNE in 2024.

Forever Young opening weekend promotion

To celebrate opening weekend, the PNE Fair is offering a Forever Young promotion where adults can get in for the price of a kid’s ticket on Saturday, Aug. 17 and Sunday, Aug. 18. The discount is available both online or at the gate though you’ll save a couple more dollars when buying online in advance.

Online: The Forever Young gate pass online is $7 and can be purchased through Ticket Leader here.

At the gate: The Forever Young gate pass price at the gate is $9, but only available until 1 p.m. each day of the promotion.

BCAA members save 30 per cent

If you’ve got a BCAA membership, you can save 30 per cent on both gate and ride passes when purchasing online.

Passes are, however, subject to park capacity so be sure to buy your passes early. All you need is your BCAA membership number.

Buy your tickets early online for up to $5 off

Buying your tickets early, up until the day before you plan to visit the PNE, can save you up to $5 off gate admission.

Keep in mind tickets are date-specific so you’ll have to plan ahead to avail of this discount.

$15 weekday adult tickets

Looking for a mid-week pick-me-up? Grab a $15 adult gate ticket for any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and head over to the PNE for dinner and entertainment.

Discounted weekday tickets are available for purchase online only.

Group rates and discounts

If you’re a part of a union, school association or alumni group, check to see if there’s a discount available to you.

The PNE has popular group discount programs that run year-round but these are often arrangements made with specific groups, with discount codes distributed to members of those groups.

White Spot Adventure Days promo for kids

Each summer, White Spot runs its popular Adventure Days promotion that offers discounted kids admission coupons for various B.C. attractions, with every order of a Pirate Pak.

Visit White Spot between Aug. 12 to 25 to snag the Adventure Days coupon for the PNE.
