Police are appealing for information about this man following an aggravated robbery in Naenae on Sunday.
Police are appealing to the public for information after a man threatened staff at a popular Hutt Valley venue.
On Sunday at about 9.30pm staff at the Naenae Hotel in the Hutt Valley were threatened with a weapon by a man demanding money.
The man, who is believed to have been wearing a dark blue hoodie, camouflaged trousers, and had his faced covered, left the scene in a dark-coloured station waggon.
Detective Sergeant Charlie Munro said police acknowledged the incident had been “very frightening” for staff, and they were grateful no one was physically hurt.
“Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident, or has any other information that could assist our investigation team.
“Anyone with information related to the aggravated robbery or the identity of the offender is asked to please get in touch.”
