Met Police officers in the Lewisham area seized a large quantity of drugs on Monday night (January 3), with the aid of a four-legged friend.
Police responding to reports of people dealing drugs stopped a vehicle, and recovered a lock knife and a large quantity of cannabis, with the help of PD Reggie, who sniffed out the stash.
The seizure was confirmed on Twitter by the Met Police Taskforce, which covers the Territorial Support Group, Marine Policing Unit, and Dog Support & Mounted Branch, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The officers concluded with the hashtag, “#StopandSearchWorks”.
People are reminded to dial 999 in an emergency, or otherwise contact police via the 101 non-emergency number.
