Chelsea manager Graham Potter has hailed Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti ahead of the Champions League clash between both sides next month.
Chelsea and Real Madrid will once again clash in the quarter-finals of the competition in April.
Potter has revealed that the focus is on Everton and not Real Madrid for now.
“Where we are now is to focus on Everton, there are three points that are up for grabs against a tough team – a team that are on the up for sure. That’s all that we can focus on, we can’t worry about May or June.”
Potter however, reserved special praises for Carlo Ancelotti.
“I’ve played against him when he was at Everton. He is a gentleman and there’s nothing I can say in terms of the respect I have for what he’s achieved in his career.
“I think the length of time he’s had between Champions League wins – twenty years – that is incredible.”
Chelsea will welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge on Saturday and they will be hoping to continue their recent resurgence having won their last three games in all competitions.
