KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Kagiso Rabada missed the fourth T20I due to an injury.
- The five-match T20I series is currently tied at 2-2.
- The winners of the Bengaluru match will win the series as well.
In the previous match, SA had to miss the services of Rabada and Wayne Parnell due to injuries. Even though they didn’t miss their presence much in bowling, the duo is likely to be drafted back into the eleven if they are fit to play. In the absence of the duo, Lungi Ngidi and young Marco Jansen got a chance to play their first game of the series in Rajkot, and they did well as well. But despite that, one of the two is likely to make way for Rabada, at least if he is declared fit for the game. The 27-year-old is the most experienced bowler in this South African set-up.
In the batting, the team is unlikely to make any changes but will expect their batters to step up after two back-to-back disappointing performances. In the third T20I, they were bundled out for 131 runs, and in the fourth game, SA posted their lowest total in T20I history. The Temba Bavuma-led side was only able to score 87 runs in reply to a 170-run target.

It was in stark contrast to the team’s display in the series opener, where they chased down 212 runs with five balls to spare and for the loss of just three wickets.
