It has become possible that the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo to the Saudi victory will benefit Egypt, which is feeling its footsteps in the 2030 FIFA World Cup organization file.
Yesterday, Friday, the Saudi club Al-Nasr announced the official contract with Portuguese Ronaldo, with a two-year contract, and in a free transfer deal, after terminating his contract with his former club Manchester United several weeks ago.
Spanish newspaper Marca stated that Ronaldo’s contract with Al-Nasr will extend until 2030, and not only to 2025, indicating that he will be a player for two years, provided that in the remaining period of the contract he becomes an ambassador for the joint file between Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Greece to host the 2030 World Cup.
On its part, La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper wrote that Ronaldo may play in a suit and tie after 2025, when he will turn to the role of ambassador for Saudi Arabia’s candidacy with Egypt and Greece to host the 2030 World Cup, and in these five years, he will earn another 500 million euros.
It is noteworthy that Mohamed Fawzy, a spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry of Sports, confirmed in previous statements to Al-Shorouk that there are government discussions with the countries of Saudi Arabia and Greece, to discuss submitting a joint file to host the 2030 World Cup.
International press reports stated that the transfer deal for Ronaldo to the Saudi League is the first link in a long series that will appear publicly in the coming years.
