The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will receive an H225M Full Mission Simulator (FMS) from Spain-based company Indra.
In an announcement to coincide with the Singapore Airshow 2024, Indra said on 20 February that it had been awarded a contract to develop and produce the new simulator. “The contract includes post-delivery support, technical assistance, and options for future expansion.”
Indra could not provide additional details on the matter to Janes during the airshow.
According to Indra, the H225M simulator will be qualifiable to the EASA Level D. It “will provide aircrew flight proficiency and mission training in different light and environmental conditions. It will include advanced training analytics with the use of biometric sensors”, the company said.
These biometric sensors are part of the systems training analytics’ capability and “will assist instructors in evaluating pilots and for more insights during debriefing”, according to Indra.
