Nigerian music star Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has touched down in Kampala, Uganda, ahead of his highly anticipated concert scheduled for December 21, 2024, in Gulu. The former member of the iconic P-Square duo received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from his Ugandan fans upon arrival, setting the stage for an exciting performance.
As soon as Rudeboy landed at Entebbe International Airport, cheering fans greeted him with flowers and heartfelt excitement, underscoring his enduring popularity in Uganda.
Dressed casually yet stylishly, the “Reason With Me” hit maker was all smiles as he acknowledged the warm reception, including a popular Northern Uganda traditional dance. He expressed his gratitude to his fans and shared his eagerness to deliver an unforgettable performance at the Acholi Inn in Gulu.
The concert, dubbed Rudeboy Live in Gulu City, is an indicator to the ever growing entertainment scene that’s now taking more shape, especially in the Northern and West Nile regions, which have become increasingly popular destinations for international acts as they last year had Fally Ipupa, recently Awilo Longomba, now Rudeboy and very soon Harmonize. Rudeboy’s performance promises to be a highlight, with fans from across the country expected to flock to Gulu to see the star in action.
While fans are thrilled about the upcoming show, some took a nostalgic moment to reflect on P-Square’s past, wondering about Rudeboy’s twin brother, Mr. P. Despite the group’s split, Rudeboy has carved out a successful solo career and remains a fan favorite across Africa.
Tickets for Rudeboy Live in Gulu City are available now, with early-bird prices set at UGX 50,000 for regular, UGX 150,000 for VIP, and UGX 1 million for a table of four. As the buzz around the concert grows, fans are eagerly preparing to witness what promises to be an unforgettable night of music and entertainment in Gulu.
