The opening ceremony was attended by journalist Mahfouz Ansari, Ambassador Ahmed Hajjaj, and Zeinab Abbas.
During the opening ceremony, Gaber stated that this round is planned to discuss issues of concern for all African countries to reach common solutions, at the top of which are climate issues, desertification, irregular migration, and the free trade agreements between African countries.
Women’s empowerment, food security, and human rights in Africa will also be tackled, he added.
Gaber also stated that a number of visits to Egyptian national projects will be organised, as Egypt has witnessed a major construction revolution in recent years.
For his part, Ansari stressed that this round of training is a good opportunity for Africans to discuss common problems and issues and to facilitate communication between the peoples of the continent.
He explained that such meetings and trainings express Egypt’s commitment to joint African action to reach solutions to common issues.
