A search for a swimmer who has been swept into the ocean on the NSW Central Coast north of Sydney has been suspended until the morning.
There were two rescue helicopters looking for the person in the water off The Entrance.
Emergency services were called to the beach at 5.15pm following reports a person was seen in the water.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District, Marine Area Command, Surf Life Saving and the Toll and Westpac Rescue Helicopters have been conducting a land, air and sea search.
It will continue tomorrow.
