Springbok and Stormers ace Evan Roos has been dealt a massive blow following medical advice that would see him sidelined until at least 2025.
Roos starred for the Stormers in throughout the 2023-2024 United Rugby Championship campaign and it was that consistency in performance that earned him a call up to the Springbok squad for the mid-year Tests against Wales, Ireland and Portugal.

This meant he enjoy an extensive run for Western Province in the Currie Cup, but those plans are now out the window too as injury curtailed his season.

According to a report on Rugby365, Roos revealed his need for to undergo urgent surgery on the latest episode of the Boks Office podcast hosted by Springboks Jean de Villiers, Schalk Burger and Hanyani Shimange.
