Sometimes, a conclusion is foregone. We already know what’s going to happen. That’s the case in this year’s NBA Draft.
There are plenty of questions about this year’s draft, but there are none at the very top. The San Antonio Spurs will be selecting Victor Wembanyama.
Why wouldn’t they? This is the most anticipated NBA prospect since LeBron James. Wembanyama could be the most dominant center the league has seen in some time.
If he’s a center in the first place, that is. Apparently, Wembanyama would prefer to avoid the 5 at the NBA level.
With that in mind, the Spurs may be on the hunt for a starting center this summer.
Could Nicolas Claxton of the Brooklyn Nets be an option?
