Wandisile Simelane has swapped the Lions for the Stormers, and his best mate Hacjivah Dayimani couldn’t be more excited. The Stormers star believes the dynamic midfielder has found his perfect fit in Cape Town.

“We go way back,” said Dayimani. “Schoolmates, roommates, teammates—we’ve done it all. Wandisile joining the Stormers is absolutely brilliant, and I can’t wait to see what he does in this system.”
Why Simelane is destined for Stormers success
Since arriving, Simelane has immersed himself in the Stormers’ culture and training regimen. While fans wait for his official debut, the word on the training ground is that he’s thriving.

Dayimani believes the Stormers’ style will unlock Simelane’s full potential: “Our attacking play is perfect for him. I reckon he’s going to shine here.”

Dayimani, who joined the Stormers in 2021, has experienced rapid personal growth thanks to the side’s coaching staff. He knows they hold the keys to elevate Simelane’s game as well.

“My defence has massively improved since joining the Stormers,” Dayimani reflected. “Norman Laker is an incredible coach with a real one-on-one focus. He makes every player in his group defensively stronger.”
