Tarifstreit: Warnstreiks in Kliniken und Pflegeheimen – 1.500 Teilnehmer

Mit Warnstreiks in insgesamt 18 Krankenhäusern und Pflegeeinrichtungen in Hessen hat die Gewerkschaft Verdi Druck gemacht im Tarifkonflikt des öffentlichen Dienstes bei Bund und Kommunen. An Arbeitsniederlegungen sowie Kundgebungen in Kassel, Wetzlar, Hanau und Wiesbaden hätten sich insgesamt rund 1.500 Beschäftigte beteiligt, sagte Stefan Röhrhoff, Landesfachbereichsleiter Gesundheit von Verdi. Dabei ging es vorwiegend um das nichtärztliche Personal der einbezogenen Kliniken sowie um Beschäftigte in den Bereichen Technik und Verwaltung.

Begonnen hatten die Aktionen zum Start der Frühschicht am Morgen. Am Mittag kamen Mitarbeitende der Spätschicht hinzu, der befristete Ausstand sollte bis zu deren Abschluss andauern. An diesem Freitag soll es dann neben weiteren Arbeitsniederlegungen in Klinken auch in Kitas und weiteren sozialen Einrichtungen Warnstreiks geben. 

Die Gewerkschaft hatte angekündigt, dass sich durch die Aktionen planbare Operationen verschieben. Für dringliche Behandlungen existierten Notdienstvereinbarungen. Zudem hatte Röhrhoff auf personelle Einschränkungen in den Küchen von Pflegeeinrichtungen und bei Reinigungstätigkeiten hingewiesen. 

Tarifstreit betrifft in Hessens Kliniken rund 20.000 Beschäftigte

In dem Tarifstreit geht es um bundesweit 2,5 Millionen Beschäftigte im öffentlichen Dienst, und in Hessen nach Röhrhoffs Worten alleine in Krankenhäusern schätzungsweise um rund 20.000 Beschäftigte. 

Verdi fordert eine Tariferhöhung im Volumen von acht Prozent, mindestens aber 350 Euro mehr monatlich für Entgelterhöhungen und höhere Zuschläge für die Arbeit zu belastenden und ungünstigen Zeiten. Ausbildungsvergütungen und Praktikantenentgelte sollen um 200 Euro monatlich angehoben werden. Außerdem fordert Verdi drei zusätzliche freie Tage. Die Arbeitgeber hatten die Forderungen als nicht finanzierbar zurückgewiesen. Die nächste Verhandlungsrunde ist von 14. bis 16. März in Potsdam geplant.
