Ms Fyles reminded Territorians it was not too late to get vaccinated, with hospitalisation numbers expected to rise in coming weeks.
Several close contacts of confirmed COVID-19 cases have already gathered at the Howard Springs facility, where they are being assisted by health authorities.
Ms Fyles added support would be available to non-government organisations looking after people impacted by COVID-19, through housing or health support assistance.
“Our teams are working incredibly hard across the Northern Territory. It’s also the wet season, which poses another obstacle,” she said.
