Veteran TV anchor and journalist Terryanne Chebet announced her comeback to the screens, after a-two-year break.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke on Wednesday, January 11, Chebet confirmed her return to CNBC Africa as a Senior Correspondent.
She intimated that she would be focusing on business news in Kenya as well as the African continent.

“I am very excited. Business has always been my passion. I intend to use the platform to tell business stories on business development in Kenya,” Chebet stated.
The TV queen intimated that some of her roles would include hosting and conducting interviews.
“We have not decided on a show yet because I just reported this week. In the meantime, I would be engaged in some marketing work for clients.
“I will also conduct interviews with industry leaders on matters of business in the country and the continent,” she disclosed.
Her move to CNBC marks the beginning of her second stint at the station since her departure in 2010. Chebet joined the outlet in 2007 as a reporter and producer.
She has had a stellar career in the media industry spanning two decades. She started out at KBC as an anchor and rose in the ranks to the producer, then director.
She joined Citizen TV in 2010 as an associate editor and Business Reporter. The journalist then moved to prime-time news, hosting alongside Michael Njenga who is now at Inooro TV .
In 2018, she joined Fanaka TV as chief executive before serving as director at Scarlet Digital. The anchor then returned to TV in 2019 at Metropol TV where she doubled as General Manager.
Amid her work, she founded her own company, Keyara Botanics, a skincare label.
