Some NBA teams have all the luck. That might be unfair.
A lot more than luck goes into building a perennial NBA contender. Perhaps it’s better to say that some teams have no luck.
For example, fans of the Sacramento Kings have long suffered. This team is on an NBA-record 16-year playoff drought. Luckily, they’re on pace to break it in 2022-23.
With the NBA trade deadline nearing, perhaps the Kings should get aggressive with possible deals to fuel their efforts further.
By contrast, the Chicago Bulls appear likely to miss this year’s postseason. That’s been the case too often for this once-dominant organization since the 90s.
Could these two downtrodden teams make a trade this season?
